I believe we can all agree that some things are happening in this world that just make us cringe. It is beginning to look a lot like Romans chapter one, where people will say what is evil is good, and what is good is evil.

There are two pieces of good news that I want to share with all believers. There is a day coming soon, according to I Thessalonians 4:16- 17, “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord.” Even though the term “rapture” is not used, this text tells us that Jesus is going to come and take all of us believers back home with Him. He did say that He was going to prepare a place for us, so apparently our new home is ready at that time.

It is then that the antichrist will rise and take control over pretty much the whole world. He will demand that the people in those days worship satan or die. When the believers in that day, and the Jewish nation specifically, are at the point of no hope, Revelation 19:11-12, 15: “And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. 12 His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself.”  V. 15 “From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty.”

The second time Jesus comes, He will take out the enemies of Christ and begin His reign on the earth. What a glorious day that will be. So, in those times when your heart is broken because of what is going on around you, remember Jesus is coming, and He will make all things good. Our job is to make sure that we are ready and to reach out to all of those around us so that they too may be able to experience life everlasting.
