 You may ask why is Sunday School important and why would I even want to go. The truth is that Sunday School is important for several reasons. First, is the fact that we are relational creatures, God has created us that way. God said in creation that it is not good for man to be alone. Life is tough enough without having to go through it by ourselves. In these classes we are able to build friendships which, in turn build trust so we can share with one another those things in life that seem to drain the joy right out of us. Second we have a need for God’s Word. With so many opinions of what is right and wrong in our society, the Bible is the only source in which we can receive real answers, not opinions. Isn’t truth what we are really searching for? We also have a desire to grow: to grow as parents, as grandparents, as husbands, and as wives. Nobody wants to stay at the same maturity level they were even last year. God has given us a desire to grow, to become a better people, to become better followers of Jesus. |
